#10 Thai Airways

This airway is the flag carrier airline of Thailand. Has retained its place in 10 for two consecutive years. Thai Airways is the founding member of the star alliance including its subsidiaries. It now flies to over 84 destinations, and 37 countries around the world, using a fleet of almost 90 aircraft.

The company’s slogan is “Smooth as silk”, and is a key brand denominator.

#9 Lufthansa Airlines

Emirates was 2018’s top 4 best airline, has unfortunately lowered its rank this year. Founded in 1985 with their humble beginnings flying out of Dubai with just two aircraft. Emirates has a fleet of more than 230 airplanes, and now flying to over 140 destinations in more than 80 countries around the globe.

The Emirates airline network is increasing constantly with over 1500 flights departing in and out of Dubai every week on their way to destinations on 6 continents.

This is great news for Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific, as it has increased its rank from the top six in 2018 to fourth place.

Now, Cathey Pacific Airlines provides scheduled passenger and cargo services to 200 destinations in Asia, North America, Australia, Europe, and Africa using a fleet of close to over 200 aircraft. Cathay Pacific is a founding member of One World Global Alliance, and Cathay Dragon is an affiliate member. Cathay pacific airlines have got high ratings for technology, safety, and care last year.
